About Julia, Founder of Amboria
Julia is a French personal development coach specializing in supporting women and releasing deep blockages. She is also a dance therapist , passionate about everything that helps women reconnect with their bodies and reveal themselves fully.
Amboria was born from this same energy: to create a garment that reveals the gentle power of women , effortlessly, without pressure, without artifice. A modern kimono, designed to enhance all silhouettes and offer this unique feeling of freedom and confidence.
A small, dedicated team
Amboria is also a small family business : there are just three of us who bring this adventure to life with passion and commitment. We strive to stay close to our customers and maintain a human, simple, and transparent relationship.
Since our beginnings, we have operated as self-employed entrepreneurs , a choice that has allowed us to launch this project with agility and commitment. Today, Amboria is evolving and growing: we are currently transforming into a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) , in order to structure our activity and continue to offer you an ever more professional service.
Based in Guadeloupe , we take care to respond to each of your requests with attention. There is approximately a 5 to 6 hour time difference with mainland France: if our responses reach you a little later in the day, or even in the evening, it is simply because we are on the other side of the ocean.
However, we do our best to provide you with responsive and friendly customer service . All your questions and requests will be answered within 24 to 48 hours maximum (closed on weekends and public holidays) . In Japan, the kimono is much more than a garment. It embodies elegance, harmony and femininity , worn on special occasions to enhance every gesture with grace. Inspired by this heritage, at Amboria we have imagined a modern, fluid and accessible version, faithful to its original spirit and designed to adapt to all silhouettes, from morning to evening.
To make our kimonos, we have chosen to collaborate with a partner workshop located in Shanghai , renowned for its textile know-how and the quality of its finishes . This choice is deliberate: it is in Asia that the kimono finds its historical origins , long before it became the icon we know today. We have taken care to select a partner who shares our values: authenticity, respect and passion .
At Amboria , we draw inspiration from this heritage to offer a modern and easy-to-wear version, while retaining its lightness and timeless elegance.
